February Updates

We have been dealing with a lot of sickness at the homestead so of course the calving has begun in earnest. We are up to 6 calves this winter with several more still due.

Mavis had a baby bull. She wasn’t acting very motherly so we brought them up to the corral and gave the baby a bottle.

The saga continues

They stayed in the corral for 2 days and are now back in the pasture and seem to be doing fine.

She’s the last of our original chickens. I thought she’d be the first to die, but she’s still here and a good mom.

Socks gave it a half-hearted shot, but Eunice chased him off.
